WinVet Software (WinVet) is part of a group of companies that has
been active in health care software development for over 20 years.
WinVet offers the unique strength of having developed veterinary
practice management software using years of practical and proven
experience in the human health care software industry.
Started in 1995, WinVet was formed to specifically
serve veterinarians. It developed one of the first true 32-bit Windows
application which was built from the ground up with the input and
advice of veterinarians, technicians and clinical administrators.
WinVet also supported the VSI veterinary software program.
By combining industry input with years of software
development experience, WinVet has succeeded in producing a state of
the art practice management software program that is simple and easy
to use, yet powerful and robust in its features.
WinVet newest product under development is the
Facility Manager which does more than just a basic scheduling program.
In addition to booking appointments, it manages treatments, kennels,
boarding facilities, resources such as X-ray machines and dental
units, intuitively finds the best available appointment, blocks staff
time off and much more - all with an ease of use and proficiency that
will make it the best in the industry. Facility Manager will be
available in the Spring 2001.
WinVet is taking advantage of the latest trend in
training technology. Interactive Internet training using Flash
software is available to all existing and new clients. This technology
is being used extensively across a wide spectrum of product and
service training. WinVet is the first veterinary practice management
software program to make extensive use of this innovative and exciting
method of delivering training to the client when and where it suits
them. WinVet's training services also include full on site
consultative training customized to meet the needs of individual
clinics. Phone training is another option that clients can choose
from.
WinVet Technical Support personnel, many with
veterinary backgrounds, are well acquainted with the veterinary
industry and how to best serve their needs. Support can be obtained
via the Internet or "in person" using traditional phone
lines.
Additional services offered include data conversions
from most competitive software programs and software installation
setup services.
